The Learn to Swim course prepares each swimmer with the fundamentals of all swimming strokes and safety skills including body positioning, breath control and kicking. Having the correct fundamental building blocks to the strokes will allow swimmers to start developing their stroke easier and more efficiently.

Learn to Swim One Entry Requirements:
Water Exploration Three certification or completed assessment from Swim am byth supervisors
What you'll learn (units):
Child understanding of safe entries and exits
Blowing bubbles in the water for 5 seconds
Pressing face in the water for 5 seconds
Jump into the pool and return to the side safely
Floating in a supine position for 5 seconds
Completion Requirements:
Swimmers must successfully complete each unit of study to meet the course requirements and graduate with a Learn to Swim One certification.
