What is the name of the reflex that makes babies look like they are kicking in the water?
Bonus points if you can tell us the approximate age it starts to fade.
Babies have an amphibian reflex that makes the hip flex with the knee on the same side so the baby is ‘kicking’ and moving through the water. By approximately 9-12 months of age this reflex starts to fade.
